The Glenn Dale Volunteer Fire Association, Inc. established in 1929, we are a non-profit corporation with approx 95 members. We currently have 2 stations, our primary station, Co# 18 is at 11900 Glenn Dale Blvd. in Glenn Dale Md. 20769, Phone 301-805-2400. Our 2nd Station, Co# 53 at 6910 Glenn Dale Rd. (old co# 18) is utilized by P.G. Fire&EMS Dept. and houses the counties Haz-Mat Units, Bomb Units and E531 the Fed-Ex Field Stadium event pumper.

We operate the following services over an approx. 20 square mile first due area.

Engine Company --- Engine 181 & Rescue Engine 18
Heavy Rescue Squad --- SQ18 & Rescue Engine 18
Ambulance --- Ambulance 187
Medic Unit --- Medic 18 (Career Staffed 24/7)

With these units our department combined answer approx. 6500 Calls per year both Fire and EMS related.
