Around 1130 hrs a box was transmitted for 9600 blk of Underwood Street in company 48 area for a reported house fire. While units went responding a supplement came in and advised that is was going to be a grease fire in the kitchen and reported to be out. With that being said Engine 484 arrived on the scene to find a 1 and a half story home with Heavy Smoke showing and advancing their pre-connect in to the kitchen area of the structure. Engine 181 arrived completing their water supply and advancing a back line into the structure, before entering  the structure the crew from 18 notice that  with the amount of smoke coming from the roof area of the house that it was a little bit more than just a "grease" fire reported out. Engine 181 advanced their back up line to the second floor and gained access into the attic area where they found the entire attic area on fire. With the help of the crew from Tower Ladder 33 all ceiling was pulled and the bulk of the fire was knocked down within minutes. the assignment was quickly scaled back to Engine Companies 48 and 18 Tower Ladder 33 for the mop up process. Engine 181 cleared in about 2 hrs.
