At 0335 hours Engine Companies 39, 16, 18, AA 7, Trucks 19, 28 Squad 18 and B/C 2 were dispatched for a reported House Fire at 3607 Maureen Ln.  Engine 181 and Squad 18 responded with 8 Volunteers.  SQ18 arrived as E391 was laying out and advised communications of "Heavy Smoke Showing", assuming first due special service responsibilities.  E181 unaware of company 39's direction of travel and with no layout instructions given, arrived and with a known working fire assumed the second due responsibilities completing E391's water supply, The crew advanced the 400' attack line from E181 to back up the first in company.  E391 and SQ18's crews found a bedroom off in the A/D quadrant and made quick work on the fire.  Units continued to Complete Searches, Open Up and Ventilate.  Chief 28A (Grant) Had Command.
